Visiting Camden Market was quite an experience. We walked a few hours through all the stables and enjoyed the interesting atmosphere at this place. We had lunch in one of the countless booths and bought some nice presents.

Today it was beautifull weather here in London, so I went out to explore the area around here. After a sneak peak at the map I decided to visit the Ravenscourt park and the area of Hammersmith.

Moving in

Thursday, March 1st, 2007

Finally I moved in. It was a hard day, especially because I was on nightshift and got only 3 hours of sleep. But, I don’t want to complain. I have my own bed now. That’s most important.

I can’t find Hugh

Sunday, February 25th, 2007

I went out for a walk, originally to see my new neighbourhood where I’ll be moving to on thursday.

Acton

Once I was there and saw a sign which pointed towards Notting Hill, I decided to keep on walking. So I walked down the beautifull Holland Park Avenu to Notting Hill Gate and a bit further. This city really has some beautifull places.

Soho XP

Saturday, February 24th, 2007

Since I forgot my phone at MPC I had to go to Soho anyway. Beeing there I decided to do a little sightseeing and I started walking around. My first target was Piccadilly Circus and hell was it crowded… I think the last time I saw that many people per square meter was on the Robby Williams concert ;-)

From there I walked to Leicester Square where I’ve allready been on thursday for a screening of recent MPC works. I walked back to Piccadilly Circus and further down Regent Street where I made a breake in the hughe Apple Store. I’ve never seen such a crowded Apple Store… That day I understood what Ronald Reng meant by writing “London is swinging”.

The London I

Sunday, February 18th, 2007

The semester is over, the exams are done. Thanks to Sylvia I moved to London to do my internship at one of London’s best postproduction companies. I’ll work at MPC as a render wrangler.

I arrived on saturday the 17th of February and went straight to London, Soho where MPC has its main facility. Sylvia was on the night shift, so I had to stay in Soho for a few hours till a taxi brought us home to her studio flat. While walking around the block I took a few pics as you can see.
