Unfortunately our week in Miami is over and we are flying back to Washington DC where we’ll spend the last 2 days of our US-Trip with my aunt and her husband.

Wow, allready our last day in Florida, but never the less a day full of fun. Lejla took us down to the Everglades where we went to an aligator farm. It was really lots of fun. We could hold a 2 year old aligator, see a piece of the Everglades National Park on a wet and wavy airboat ride, hold a python and watch some aligator feeding.
After that day we went to a Sushi restaurant where we enjoied some really deliciouse sushi.
This day was gorgeous. We went out to Key Largo to do some snorkeling. Se we rented our gear and they drove us outa few miles into the ocean to a beautifull reef, called Seegarden. Allthough we three were firsttimers it was wonderfull. This beautifull piece of nature was really worth to be seen.

After we had dinner we went out to some lounges here at South Beach Miami with some friends of Lejla. It was really funny and the nightlife overhere is really great. Thanks Lejla, that was a gorgeous day.

As the day before we started our day at SoBe with swimming in the crystal clear atlantic ocean.
After lunch we took another walk through Miami Beach and enjoyed the beautifull weather in one of these countless coffee shops.
After Lejla got home from work we went streight to bed. Whereas bed is one of Miami’s most popular lounges. So it was a fun start into Miami’s nightlife.
Our first day on SoBe, short for South Beach Miami, was gorgeous. We spent the morning on the beach, enjoing the great weather and the turquoise colored water.
In the afternoon we took a long walk down the famous Ocean Drive all the way down to the southern end of Miami Beach where we sat down for quite a bit and enjoied the picturesque sight. Later on we walked on Washington Avenue back to Lejla’s apartment.
Lincoln Road, right in front of the building where we stay for this week.
The view from Lejla’s apartment.
A bunch of show-off’s on Ocean Drive.
Have you ever seen 5 Dodge Viper in a row?
South Point Park down on the southern tip of the island.
The famouse Versace mainson where he was shot allmost 10 years ago.
We’re going to Miami.
Soon after breakfast we put our bags in the truck and drove to St. Louis airport to catch our plane to Miami. Since this was our 4th flight in this vacation we have allready some kind of routine in the whole procedure so it wasn’t that exciting anymore.

Thanks god, the plane was bigger than the last one and we could kind of enjoy our flight. Once arrived in Miami, Lejla picked us up and we drove to the condo where she has her studio. She took us on a walk through some nice places down here in Miami Beach and showed us some important streets and plazas. What else should I say… WE LOVE IT.
We started our downtown sightseeingtour of course at the Arch, the gateway to the west. We went the 630 feet (192m) up in a tiny elevator-like can and spent a few minutes up there on the viewing deck and enjoied the outlook over the city.
There after Denise and Trent took us on a ride through the city and drove us to the art museum of St. Louis.
